As of 15th June 2021 Google has update a new policy on their Google Play that has been affecting some of the user here in Brunei.
The issue seems to be an account related issue.
Error 1: The redeem issue seems to still works on different account despite affecting on another account.
Error 2: The code was able to be redeemed but it will not work on in-app, the credit is still is valid for purchases on movies, ebooks etc.
Please do note that we will not be able to issue a refund for this kind of issue.
We advice to avoid using Google Play Gift Card for now due to inability to control the outcome until this new policy is somehow revert .
We are temporarily holding Google Play Gift Card sales to ensure news are received to those that might be affected
Some games do support Razor Gold which could be an alternative
